Hello UFVA Colleagues,

I’m writing in the hopes that you will encourage your students to submit to the second edition of the?Hellbender?Student Film Festival. The final, extended deadline is approaching on October 3rd and we’re hoping to see as much student work as possible. Entries are open to all student films so please feel free to spread the word no matter what institution you’re a part of.?Submissions can be made on FilmFreeway (https://bit.ly/FFHellbender).

We accept fiction, documentary, and animated short films in addition to this year’s two special categories – Dance on Film & Climate and the Environment. So, whatever great works your students have created over this difficult year, there’s a home for it in our festival.
We will be holding safely distanced screenings for the festival on the Lindenwood campus on November?3rd and 4th, so, if you’re in the area, feel free to drop by.
It would be great if you could share this with your students and any fellow professors who might be interested.? For questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch and we look forward to seeing your students’ work.
