In the Spotlight today is the 27th bi-annual LA Comedy Festival (LA Comedy Fest), celebrating hilarious filmmakers and performers that are raising the bar and delivering unique content. LA Comedy Fest regularly attracts some of the biggest names in comedy and provides ample opportunity for gifted storytellers to share their wares on a prominent platform.

LA Comedy Fest invites all forms of funny from shorts, television pilots, and sketch comedy to feature-length films, web series, animated projects, music videos and live acts. LA Comedy Fest is frequently attended by representatives from NBC, CBS, ABC, HBO, Comedy Central, CAA, Circle of Confusion, Jimmy Kimmel Live and other heavyweights throughout the entertainment industry.

LA Comedy Festival supports festival alum and the LA comedy scene through LACF365, a year round program for storytellers to work on their craft and grow their fan base. LACF365 features film screenings, sketch comedy groups, improv troupes and stand-up comics. LA Comedy Fest is the partner festival to the LA Indie Film Festival, which is currently in its 16th season.
