SANTA FE INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL CALL FOR ENTRIES

Taking place October 13th?17th, 2021, the 13th Annual Santa Fe Independent Film Festival was named one of Moviemaker Magazine’s “50 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee” for 7 consecutive years!!! SFiFF is the largest film festival in New Mexico and top regional film festival in the US.

SFiFF benefits filmmakers by providing cash awards in five film categories, all-access festival passes, travel and lodging stipends, and other industry opportunities. The Fest creates connections between filmmakers, industry members, and distributors, showcasing films created by emerging and established filmmakers in one of the greatest art and theater cities in the world. SFiFF screens films at George RR Martin?s Jean Cocteau, Violet Crown Cinema, the historic Lensic theater, The Screen, the Center for Contemporary Arts, and Motorama at the Downs.

Past SFiFF guests have included Shirley MacLaine, Gena Rowlands, Robert Redford, Ethan Hawke, Wes Studi, Jay Roach, Ali MacGraw, John Sayles, Jane Seymour, and Jacqueline Bisset. In 2020, SFiFF presented a hybrid event, with local screenings at a Drive-In theater and a Virtual Festival which was available online.

SFiFF accepts entries for Narrative films, Documentaries, International films, Short films, Animated films, Indigenous films, Student films, and Virtual Reality.
